Bio

Yesenia a proud Chicago native, born and raised in this amazing city. Ever since she was 9 years old, Yesenia knew she wanted to work in the veterinary field. She says she was always bringing home stray pets and asking her mom for forgiveness later!

After earning her degree in applied science and Certified Veterinary Technician credential, she joined the BLVD family in 2020 as a veterinary technician. Since then, she’s had the incredible opportunity to grow within the company—first as a supervisor and now as the practice manager. Yesenia says it’s truly fulfilling to work for a company that values its employees and empowers them to make a positive impact.

What she loves most about her role is the chance to care for animals and educate their owners. Seeing the difference we make every day is what keeps her motivated. At home, she’s surrounded by her five cats and two dogs, who are constant reminders of why she loves what she does.

Outside of work, Yesenia enjoys unwinding with a variety of hobbies, including listening to house music, decorating her home and shopping—she’s a sucker for all things Christmas! These activities help her recharge and bring a creative touch to her life.
