Marina

Lakeview Lincoln Park

Practice Manager & Special Projects Advisor

Bio

Marina is a Chicago-land native, having grown up in the northwest suburbs. She has had a strong affinity for animals from a young age, and was always bringing home a wide variety of pets (fish, reptiles, amphibians, rodents, and even a tarantula). She started volunteering in an animal shelter as soon as she was old enough, and her earliest jobs included pet sitting for family friends, working a pet store, and working in a dog kennel. After some time working in a human doctor's office, Marina realized that she was happiest working with animals and forming strong bonds with people over shared interests. With the hopes of combining her passions and professional skills, she decided to pursue a career in veterinary medicine.

Marina started working at BLVD Vet as a Client Care Specialist in 2016, and was quickly promoted to Client Care Manager in 2017. With the opening of BLVD Vet Lakeview- Lincoln Park in 2023, Marina was promoted to her current role as Practice Manager and Special Projects Advisor. There are many aspects of working in veterinary medicine that Marina enjoys, but she has particularly enjoyed being able to continuously learn, build new skills, and work on various unique projects with BLVD (such as assisting with the opening of multiple new clinics and launching new systems). She is also passionate about building connections with her team, coaching, and helping others reach their goals.

Marina currently shares her home with her 3 fur babies- 2 foster fail kitties (Blue and Devi) and rescue pup (Cardi). In her free time, she enjoys spending time in nature, traveling, reading, gardening, and crafting.
