Bio
Dr. Frederickson (aka Dr. Dylan) found his calling to be a veterinarian on his family's small dairy farm in central Wisconsin. The Frederickson Family Farm has been in the family for over 100 years spanning 5 generations.
Growing up, Dr. Dylan often had to assist their large animal veterinarians. Helping them perform surgeries, treat sick cows, vaccinate young stock and deliver calves planted the seed that he wanted nothing more than to be a veterinarian one day.
Dr. Dylan completed undergraduate studies at The University of Minnesota and immediately thereafter obtained his Doctorate from the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine.
Having lived for some time in Logan Square, Dr. Dylan decided it was the perfect place to put down some roots and found his own veterinary practice. He did so in 2014 naming it "Boulevard Veterinary" as a nod to the historic Boulevard system that passes through Logan Square as it rings Chicago. Following strong growth of the practice in Logan Square, the team expanded by opening locations in River North, Ravenswood and Lakeview East.
When not working on BLVD Vet, Dr. Dylan enjoys running, reading and going on adventures with his family. He also enjoys supporting neighborhood restaurants, traveling and of course going up to Wisconsin to the family farm back where it all began.
