National Dog Week Live Like Roo Fundraiser

It’s National Dog Week 2020 and we’re ready to run (and match some donations!)

We are excited (and a little scared) to introduce The Boulevard Trailblazers! We will be joining a virtual 5k hosted by our Rescue Partner Live Like Roo Foundation. While we can’t promise that athleticism is our thing, we can promise that helping some dogs definitely is. We’ll do our best to keep it classy, but Dr. Dylan may or may not have already started the trash talking.

Here’s how it works:

Our BLVD Vet Rescue Committee will be matching up to $500 of donations made between Monday 9/21/2020- Monday 9/28/2020. Make a donation to any member of our team page and send a screenshot of your donation to donation@blvd.vet for your donation to be matched. The highest donor will receive a Live Like Roo Swag Bag.

Fundraising starts now, but the 5K will run from 9/28/2020-10/5/2020. Check out The Boulevard Trailblazers Team Page to join our team! The best part is there’s no pressure to actually run! You can log any walking, biking or couch-to-fridge activity you do during that time. Live Like Roo will also be giving away all sorts of prizes including $500, a Yeti cooler, gift cards and more. 

About the organization:

Live Like Roo is a donation-based 501(c)(3) charitable organization who provides support and financial assistance to families whose pets face a cancer diagnosis. 

Through grants, care packages, special experiences and genuine human support and kindness, The Live Like Roo Foundation has been able to assist over 8,200 pets and their families through cancer diagnosis. Having experienced the difficulty of this situation first hand, founder Sarah Lauch and the Live Like Roo Foundation strives to be a helping hand in a difficult and sometimes confusing time.
