Save at BLVD when you Adopt at CACC

Friends and Neighbors,
Chicago Animal Care and Control is facing a capacity crisis. Since July 1st, they have taken in over 400 cats and dogs. That means that the facility is at capacity and they are forced to make some very difficult decisions. Our local rescues are doing all that they can to intake some of these pets, but the reality is that there simply isn’t enough space. Adopting a pet from a shelter not only means you're giving this new pet a chance at a loving and happy home, but it also provides a kennel to another pet in need.

Here’s the good news: CACC is waiving all adoption fees for the month of July! Additionally, we are pleased to offer $50 off your first BLVD Vet exam for any pets adopted or fostered from CACC this July. Simply share your intake information with our front of house team and mention code CACCJULY at your first visit.

Molly is patiently waiting at CACC to meet you!

We know it’s difficult to hear this information, but coming together as a community is one of the best ways to help these animals in need. Even if you aren’t able to foster or adopt, there are many ways that you can still show your support:

Chicago Animal Care and Control is open for walk-in adoptions from 12 pm to 7 pm daily. If you are planning to adopt the day you visit, please plan to arrive before 5:30 pm. Visitors arriving after 5:30pm will still be able to view animals in Pavilions A-B-C & cat adopts until 7pm.

Brian is looking for his new best friend to bring him home!

Be sure to stop by CACC this July to meet the many incredible pets waiting to find their forever homes. Even just to lend a helping hand! If you do decide to expand your family, we hope you’ll bring them to BLVD so we can celebrate in the joy with you!

Sincerely,

The BLVD Team
