Boulevard Veterinary Ravenswood is now AAHA Accredited!

Dear friends and clients,

We are thrilled to share that our Ravenswood practice is officially AAHA accredited! Only 15% of veterinary hospitals in the U.S. and Canada have met their rigorous standards of excellence. To become AAHA accredited, our practices are evaluated for approximately 900 standards of veterinary care established by AAHA veterinary experts. We had BLVD Vet Ravenswood inspected, standard operating procedures reviewed and medical records evaluated for thoroughness.

Passing the AAHA accreditation evaluation means the practice is successfully following the important guidelines in current veterinary care standards. We are going above the required standards of educational programs for our staff and exceeding expectations for people’s needs in regards to their pets,” says BLVD Practice Manager, Ashli Bennett. 

The American Animal Hospital Association was established in 1933 by leaders in the field with the mission to:

• Enhance the abilities of veterinarians to provide quality medical care to companion animals
• Enable veterinarians to successfully conduct their practices and maintain their facilities with high standards of excellence
• Meet the public's needs as they relate to the delivery of small animal veterinary medicine

Preparing for AAHA accreditation at all three of our practices both validated our methods and helped us increase the value and quality of our veterinary care.
